Getting chosen can be simple.
Getting modeling work shouldn't be a long, difficult and painful process. Getting a chance to first show what you have is simple --- after that, it's all about remaining committed to your career, looking out for the right opportunities, and staying interested in your training and experiences as a new model.
The USA Calendar Girls Project gives new models the opportunity to get some experience and learn the business before deciding on modeling as a career, while making money rather than spending it on high-dollar training, high pressure talent agents and expensive photo portfolios.
The process is easy: You apply, we review your application and whatever digital images you send. We evaluate your "look" and determine what type of work might first suit you best. We contact you with our evaluation, and to set up an informal interview to discuss modeling assignments you might be interested in. After confiming you as a USACG model, we will work with you in getting the tools you need to be successful in your first assignments, and will get you started with your photo portfolio -- images you can use beyond the work projects you might accept with us. We stay with you throughout your first years, providing you with opportunities to take part in an ongoing list of calendar projects, film and photo art projects, and marketing and promotional events.
The process is easy and hassle-free, without any pressure on you to accept any assignment, and again, modeling fees belong to you. We take only a flat fee for delivering you a project, if you decide that individual project is one you would like to do.

Here's all you need to do to get started:
1. Send us the basics.
Start by going to the Apply Now page on our website. Submit your name and contact information, email address and the city where you live. We will send you a Model Applicant number and orientation packet, along with instructions on how to continue with the application process.
We do not require photographs be submitted during this first step, however it does really help us in speeding up the processing of your application, as we can place you at the "front of the line" of screening for certain projects requiring a specific look. If you wish to submit photos now, please go to the Contact Us page on this website and follow the instructions there for submitting photographs.

2. Let us review your Application.
Give us a few weeks to review your application and assign you a model number. Once we have you on our team, we will send you an orientation packet explaining everything you need to know about getting your career started, getting used to working, getting assignment offers and getting experience in a supportive, safe environment.
3. Tell us about your interests.
When you receive your orientation packet, you will have the chance to tell us about your likes and dislikes, your hobbies and special skills, and the kind of work you are interested in. This will help guide us to getting you the kind of assignment offers that you really want, and the ones that will make you a successful model. Remember: Our goal isn't to get you busy just to be busy, but rather to get you experience that will make you excited about modeling.
4. Complete your portfolio.
After you have joined our USA Calendar Girls Project team, we will start working with you in getting a professional-looking and diverse photo portfolio underway. While this may take a little time, working on your portfolio can be exciting and fun, and is the surest way to get your face in front of people that will provide you with a steady stream of quality, paying projects that will interest you and get your modeling career launched.
5. Get your modeling project!
With a willing and committed attitude, the right photo portfolio and a wealth of opportunities provided through our ever expanding network of commercial projects, models get work and get the exposure needed to get their careers launched. Models working with the USA Calendar Girls Project get the chance to make it in the fashion and photographic art industry, without having to face the hurdles that most agencies, studios and talent groups put up. Why wait? Applying is simple, and there are no fees, tuition or other hidden costs involved. The choices are yours to make and the career you make is yours to manage.
